Be a Pipedrive Pro: Another 6 Essential Keyboard Shortcuts you should be using
Knowing the right keyboard shortcuts for the job is an often-overlooked skill that saves time and boosts efficiency, and I’ve written here before about the Pipedrive-specific shortcuts you need to know. Most sales professionals often have to jump back and forth between Pipedrive and other tools or browser tabs, and that’s when knowing a few extra keyboard shortcuts will come in handy, whether you work in a Windows or Mac environment.
1. Ctrl + T / Cmd + T (Open a New Tab)
You can quickly open a new browser tab to access another section in Pipedrive or another sales tool without disrupting your workflow.
2. Ctrl + F / Cmd + F (Find)
This shortcut will make it effortless to search for a specific customer, deal, or any other word in your browser window.
3. Ctrl + N / Cmd + N (New Window)
Open a fresh browser window to simultaneously handle multiple tasks, accounts, or tools. You can also use Ctrl + Shift + N / Cmd + Shift + N (New Incognito Window)
4. Ctrl + C / Cmd + C and Ctrl + V / Cmd + V (Copy and Paste)
These universal shortcuts make it easy to copy information from emails or reports and paste it directly into web forms, Pipedrive fields or other sales tools. You can also use the variant Ctrl + Shift + V / Cmd + Shift + V (Paste Without Formatting)
5. Ctrl + Z / Cmd + Z (Undo)
Mistakes can happen, and that’s when you can use this shortcut to quickly undo your latest action. It saves the day when you unintentionally delete a text block or change text formatting.
6. Alt + Tab / Cmd + Tab (Switch Applications)
Seamlessly switch between Pipedrive, your email account, or all your other tools instantly without using your mouse and without losing momentum or focus during a sales call or task.
