Can I consolidate custom fields?

We are currently using Pipedrive alongside third-party lead scoring software. Recently, we transitioned to a new lead scoring tool, which has resulted in multiple lead score fields in our system. Specifically, we now have:

  • The Pipedrive Lead Score field (I don't know if this was created previously, or if it is a native Pipedrive field)
  • A lead score field from our previous software, and
  • A new lead score field from the current tool.

We cannot delete the older fields because they contain valuable historical data. However, having multiple fields means we aren’t fully benefiting from our lead-scoring efforts since the data isn’t consolidated.

Is there a way to merge these fields so that all the data resides in a single, unified field?

    Hello @Simon Says,

I hope you are doing well today!

As long as these fields are the same type (e.g., numerical), you should be able to achieve this.

Here’s the article you’ll need to follow: Changing the field type of a custom field.

While the article specifically covers changing a field type, it also walks you through exporting data from a custom field—along with the item ID it’s attached to—so you can import it into your desired field. The final outcome remains the same, even though the exact goal of the article is slightly different.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
