Rotting Days resetting with field updates or client communication
We uses pipeline stages to track deal progress and the rotting days would be helpful apart from the fact any minor update in a deal, or communication sent, resets the rotting days. This might be specific to how we utilise the pipelines though would love suggestions from anyone that has encountered a similar challenge and has found a work around. It would be ideal if we could choose whether deal updates reset the rotting days, or select an option for this to be based purely off days consecutive days in pipeline stage.

Hello @Tim Air
Thank you for sharing this!
The Rotting feature was designed to bring attention to deals that remain untouched for some time, so it will count with any update made on the deal. From what I understood your idea would be for the rotting time to be related to how long the deal is in a particular stage without any movement, I can see how this could be useful!
Currently, it's not possible to adjust which type of update will reset the rotting time, however, I'll pass this suggestion internally for our Product team to consider for future developments! I would also suggest you share this on the Ideas and Product feedback tab, this way other users can comment and upvote.
Alternatively, if you want to bring attention to deals that have been in the same stage for a certain time, you can use automations to send some type of notification (for example an email or Slack message):
This automation is triggered when a deal changes stages, and if after 7 days the stage is still the same, an email is sent.
Please let me know if we can help with anything else!
