Activity Quick Note
When calling through a list of organization I often find myself putting the previous call's notes on the upcoming activity's notes section because it's faster.
For example, if I have a call scheduled for today, I'll make the call and mark it as done. A new activity window will open automatically and I'll type in the call notes and schedule that activity for the future date.
This leads to inaccurate date and activity notes because they're offset.
The reason I do this is because opening up the current activty popup restricts you from looking through the organization or contact history during the call. Sometime the popup even blocks the contacts other details. In addition, opening up that activity window for the scheduled call is just one more step and item to load so it's less convenient over hundreds of activities.
My solution is to create a quick note to the activity that doesn't require trigger activity details popup screen.
I was thinking a note button on the activity that would open up a small text field below the activity. You can then type or edit the note without leaving or having a popup block your vision and use of organization or contact page.
