Adding Custom Pipedrive fields into emails

(I believe this is not currently possible so can this be a feature request?)
I would like to include all of my Custom fields in an email, as merge tags, not just the basic First name, Organisation etc.
The reason is that we want to email our database with their specific order/project details, dynamically filled in the email template. Currently Pipedrive only allows the standard fields to be used as merge tags.
So we have to use a third Party tool, like mailchimp. But the integration with Pipedrive is not great, so need an additional subscription (Out Funnel) but this still requires a lot of manual work.
If pipedrive allowed the use of these custom fields it would be simple and quick, to create tailored emails for our customers.

In Pipedrive, you can incorporate custom fields into your email templates to personalize communication. To do this, create a custom field under the relevant entity (e.g., Deal, Person, Organization) by navigating to Settings > Company > Data fields and selecting Add custom field . When composing an email, use the Insert field button to add these custom fields into your template. Ensure that the email is linked to the appropriate deal, person, or organization for the custom fields to populate correctly.

Hi thank you for your reply, but I am sure the fields that you can add are a limited number of standard fields. We have pipedrive set up with custom fields relevant to our business and it is NOT possible to add all of those fields to an email template. I have tried it, and I have contacted support about this, who also told me it is not possible, but that they could see why it would be useful. You can only add first name, salutation, company name etc. If you can confirm this is possible I would very much like to see an example of this working, because as far as i know this is not possible?

@Rob.BNG.ECO Curious — what kind of manual work are you hoping to automate? We're always looking for use cases our product does not yet cover.
