Issue when Marking Activities as Done

I currently sync Pipedrive with Outlook and generally will send meeting invitations through Outlook. They are then synced into Pipedrive as activities. I've found that when I go back in Pipedrive to mark the activity as "Done" it will resend the invitation to the recipients. Even after the meeting was completed. This is very annoying and unprofessional. Is there a way to avoid this?
