Why Pipedrive replies so slowly to developers?
I had experience working with Pipedrive as a customer and as a developer partner, and whereas experience as a customer was good, as a developer I'm constantly facing issues and getting ignored by Pipedrive support. Half a year ago we decided to implement a chrome plugin for Pipedrive and list it on the marketplace. Development was done, now it was time to submit the app. A week after the submission we got locked out of our account, it was constantly asking to buy a subscription even though it was a developer account. OK, we bought it, and it worked for a few hours (no review at this moment, btw). But on the next day - the same issue. After that we've contacted support - another 2 weeks which led to nothing. We created a new account, configured the app listing again and submitted it for review. In a month (!!!) we got a reply asking to introduce some changes, but we couldn't do it right away, because "This app is currently in the review process and making changes to the app listing is disabled. If you want to cancel the review, please contact us". So we tried replying in the same email thread - no reaction, contacted support@pipedrive.com - after some time fighting with AI we were asked to contact
marketplace.apps@pipedrive.com. Contacted a week ago - still no reply. Since we've already implemented this plugin we will probably create another listing, re-submit it and wait for another month to get a review. Becoming Pipedrive developer partner looked like a cool opportunity (we have a few other ideas for apps), until we stumbled upon the issues with support. It's almost 3 month since we've decided to start the review process, our team has experience working with other platforms and it's the longest time we've spent on review. Even Google apps with restricted scopes (and, hence, CASA) usually take less time to get to production
