Custom Field formulas using if/then

Hi everyone,

a couple of Custom Field ideas:

1/ to show/hide group custom fields based on another custom field As an example, we are a car brokerage and if a customer has a trade-in (yes/no custom field), show the trade in fields and if they don't, hide or minimise the group.

2/ "if/then" functionality - Similar to above however more to do with formula. If there is a certain product/s attached, then calculate the total price or if there is a trade in, then add the trade value.
