Assigning project tasks to external people?

I'm running a series of projects which involve people / agencies external to my company. They have their own tasks within the project. How can I assign the tasks or activities so that I can identify them and filter them so I can keep track of what they need to do? I don't need a licence for them as they will not be using pipedrive themselves.
