Currency Marker ($ sign) comes AFTER the monetary value

Hi there,

I am not sure why but in my products section I have monetary fields and in all of them, the currency marker/denomination ($ symbol as in Australia) comes AFTER  the amount.

As we use fields for other numerical indicators - it is odd seeing money in this way. Especially as in my deals and pipelines, all currency fields are with the $ sign before the amount.

Have queried through the help desk but they do not know why either.

Is there a way to revert this?

I also note that when setting up a view of fields in my products, that it marks the field as Total Contract Value > Currency of Total Contract Value.

Thanks

Hi @Geoff Wilkie thanks for sharing. I've passed on this comment to our teams working on products and custom fields. Is there a very specific reason you'd need the monetary type of custom field? You can technically also create a numerical one if you don't want the Currency or even a text one if you do want it but in the front. Not ideal, I agree so I hope we can improve it in the future.

Thanks, @Mike van der Valk for getting back to me.  We use the currency here as is an indication of the value of the contract. As we have other numbers in the products, the currency marker helps to differentiate it.

Would be great if it's was something that could be resolved - but admittedly is more of a nice to have than a need to have
