Leads and Deals confusions

Hi guys,

I am finding two issues with the Leads - 

  1. PipeDrive doesn't show suggestion (as it does when you add new deals) when you add leads if the contact or organisation already exists. The challenge is you might duplicate the contacts or followup the same person.
  2. You can't record the call while the contacts are in Leads.

Has anyone found any way to work around that?

    Thanks for sharing

    1. It doesn't happen during the adding of a lead right now, but inside of the lead you'll see this like the image below. Nonetheless, I can agree we. can do this better, I'll pass on your suggestion.
    2. It's in our backlog, this will still take time to develop but our goal is that Leads integrate with Calling, Emailing, Workflow automation, etc over time.

    Calling and recording feature would be great, as that would save a lot of time of writing notes.
