Feature Suggestion: Log emails on a Contact record to others

The Use Case

I email a team member from within a Contact record, and want to log the email on the Contact record without also copying the contact in the email.

    I'd like to understand your suggestion a bit better. 

    • When you say team member, do you mean another Pipedrive user who works with you, or a colleague of the Contact you're sending an email to? 
    • Can you clarify what your end goal would be?

    Sure:

    • By team member I mean another Pipedrive user who works with me, but possibly someone else who is not the Contact (or Deal or Organization).
    • The end goal is to log that a communication took place and that it is about the Contact (but which does not include the Contact). With Deals I can BCC the Deal's address in Pipedrive.  Example: I send an email to a team member to assess if a task (needed for this Contact) is feasible. We don't have a Deal yet in PipeDrive for the Contact because we are not at that point yet with them.

    Thank you for clarifying @Stephen Cummings , your suggestion makes a lot of sense.

    As far as I'm aware, at the moment we have no immediate plans for this, as priorities and resource allocations for development have to be distributed and unfortunately not everything can be built or at least built in the near future. That being said, we appreciate your input and use it to give our teams thinking points to be considered in the future.
