Please create an option, at the ADMIN level, to allow regular users to ADD/DELETE Contacts

PipeDrive Team? Why create the option for us to to permit deletion of DEAL for regular users, and not CONTACTS? Please quickly add this permission level so we are not asked to do this work on behalf of our teams! Hurry.

Hi @Jim D'Elia !
Regular users can always add new Deals, People, Contacts and Activities, even if all their permissions have been turned off.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear this is being an inconvenience to you. I have forwarded your suggestion to our team so they can consider it in new developments.
In the meantime, a solution would be to create a filter of all the contacts the Regular user wants to delete, make sure that filter is set to "shared" and ask the Admin user to filter the contacts by that filter and bulk delete them.
Not perfect, I know, but it might still save you some work, as the filter will always show you the most up-to-date results. You can even create a weekly routine of deleting "dead" contacts every Friday, for example.
Another alternative is creating an automation that deletes contacts if they have received a particular update (for example, if a custom field "Delete" has been changed to YES).

I agree that it's essential to add a permission switch which allows regular users to delete contacts. The same applies for the deletion of organisations. Removing a contact or an organisation is a very basic function which we need on a daily basis.
Allowing to set this permission for non-admins would also be consistent as I can also allow regular users to merge contacts and organisations (which has a similar effect as deleting contacts / organisations).
I'm afraid that companies tend to assign Admin privileges to normal users just to allow them to remove organisations and contacts. This has a negative impact on the security of Pipedrive.
The same feature also has been requested here:

Thank you for your feedback, @Jesko !
Regular users can always add new Deals, People, Contacts and Activities, even if all their permissions have been turned off.
There are also settings that Admin users can enable so that Regular users cam merge Deals, People and Organizations. Currently, the same settings don't not exist for deleting them.At the moment we have no news about this, as priorities and resource allocations for development have to be distributed and unfortunately not everything can be built or at least built in the near future. That being said, we appreciate your input and use it to give our teams thinking points to be considered in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

I agree with the requests above! We need an admin setting to allow (if we choose) regular users to delete their contacts/organizations.

Hi Pipedrive Community!
I would like to know if there is an update regarding this concern as we, on our team, are currently experiencing the inconvenience of not being able to delete a contact by a regular user. Our team admin already tried to automate deleting the contact once a deal is lost/deleted but it doesn't seem to work.
Also, How can I sync Pipedrive contacts to my Google contacts? I tried zapier but you guys might have other suggestions.
It would be great if I can talk to a Pipedrive representative directly, but since Pipedrive doesn't have a direct number I am hoping you could help me here, we would like to resolve this as soon as we can. Kind regards to all.

Hi @Michelle ! We're sorry to hear you're having these inconveniences but I think I can point you in the right direction.
As for regular users being able to delete contacts, at the moment we have no news about this, as priorities and resource allocations for development have to be distributed and unfortunately not everything can be built or at least built in the near future. That being said, we appreciate your input and use it to give our teams thinking points to be considered in the future.
A workflow automation like the example below should get you the desired effect:
