Allow User to order how the tasks are created in a single Automation

We have one automation that creates 10 tasks. We number them by putting a Step number in the notes. Currently those tasks get created in a random order which makes it difficult to look through them and be sure that all the tasks are there (sometimes people delete one, not realizing it impacts other automations, and sometimes we change the automations task so we want to be able to look at older deals and see if we need to add a task manually). We have tried recreating the automation from time to time and creating the tasks in order but they are still created in a random order. Automations are very powerful, would love to be able to see the tasks created in some saner, more consistent order than to be created randomly.

Hi Paula,
From my experience, Pipedrive automation from within Pipedrive is still very limited.
I would suggest Integromat would be a better solution for what you're trying to achieve.

@Paula E. Junkins I agree, Integromat is the right tool. One possible solution is to change the due date and time so that each successive task is due later than the previous one, that way they will show up in the order tha tyou would like.

Hi @Paula E. Junkins , @Pete Mahon , @Martin Boonzaayer , we appreciate your feedback!
Currently all the actions triggered by an automation get generated at the same time, sometimes in different order.
The good news I have for you is that we're working on a new version of automations where you will be able to do just that, aka create Action 1 > wait X amount of time > create Action 2.
Because there's a lot of moving parts I'm afraid I can't give you an ETA at the moment, but for sure we'll announce it here. We know it will be an important change that will add a lot of value and expand the scope of what our automations allow you to do. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned!
Speaking of which, here are some pro tips to stay on top of things:
