WeChat is most popular Instant messenger, it shall be available from Instant messenger list.

    Hi @Rudy Teng ! 

    I'd like to understand your post a little better. Are you suggesting you'd like Pipedrive to integrate with WeChat? 

    If that's the case, as far as I'm aware right now there are no concrete short term plans to make these improvements. Unfortunately with many customers and requests and with limited development resources we need to prioritise and make choices what to deliver first. We will make sure however our team will consider your suggestions but we can never make any promises, although we wished we could.

    An alternative you might want to consider is using one of these integration platforms from our marketplace to connect WeChat to Pipedrive. 

    Check out the Bots & Messaging section too, for messenger platforms that already integrate with Pipedrive.

    Thank you for clarifying, @Rudy Teng , that really helped!

    The Instant Messenger field is created when you sync your contacts (from Google, for example), so the options you see in that menu are actually not controlled by us but by the platform your contacts are being synced from. I suggest getting in touch with them so they can add WeChat to their list of options.

    This actually taught me a lot :). Now that I know that, this means that anyone that chooses / sets up Google contacts sync will have this field be added and will see all these options. Do I understand this correct @Inês Batata ?

    I tried to switch off Google Contact sync but the same pick list; no WeChat available.

    Hi @Rudy Teng !

    Like I mentioned, the pick list will only present whatever Google allows for, and at the moment it seems like WeChat is not one of them. Unfortunately, that is out of our control.
