Workflow Automation Scheduler - new Pipeline Stage - possible?

Hi everyone.

Has anyone realized an automation which moves a deal to a new stage (in my case "appointment booked") whenever a client books an appointment via the scheduler?

Thanks for your tips and input (even if the input might be "doesn't make sense because:...". I'm new to all this crm stuff ;) )

Hi @Roland Meents , thank you for your question!

The only way I can think of this is using "activity created" as the trigger and "update deal" as the action. The problem is that when a Scheduler activity is created it doesn't get associated to a deal (unless you do it manually after), so the second step of that automation wouldn't work.

What you can do is create a unique name and/or custom activity type for the activities generated by Scheduler, then manually link them to a deal, and create an automation that moves a deal that has just been assigned that type fo activity to your desired stage.

This second part can't be done using our native Workflow Automations but I suggest you use one of the integration platforms from our Marketplace to create that automation for you - explore your options here.

There will be exciting news about our Automations coming in the future, though, so keep your eyes peeled ;) I have also forwarded your suggestion to the team for consideration.
