Filter: Show deals which INDEED reached a certain stage (and not only came past it)

We sometimes have "fast forwards" for deals in our sales pipeline. For example sometimes customers don't want a presentation of our product but directly buy that product. Then we directly forward the according deal to the "sold" stage i.e. the deal skips the pipeline stage "product presentation".

If I now create a deals filter with condition "Deal phase was Product Presentation" Pipedrive shows even those deals which never reached the stage "Product Presentation" but only came past it when being fast forwarded.

For us it would be helpful if Pipedrive would allow to show only those deals which reached a certain pipeline stage indeed.

    Hi @Jesko

Thanks for passing on that feedback, I'll pass it on to the team.
For now as a workaround you can set up a workflow that triggers a message to you whenever a deal enters a certain stage. Not ideal, but it might help you in the meantime.

    Hello @Mike van der Valk

what I want to achieve is to filter the list of deals to only show those deals which indeed reached a certain stage.

Unfortunately the email trigger doesn't help to achieve this.

Nevertheless thanks for that suggestion. I'm looking forward do any future updates on this. :)

Gotcha, one last workaround I can think of @Jesko is to use a tool like Zapier to automate an entry in a Google spreadsheet when a deal hits a certain stage. Then you would gather them there.

@Mike van der Valk Same goes for when deals start in a different stage than the first one - the insights still show the deal has been there and hence manipulates stage conversions. Any update on that?
