Is there an easy way to add (convert) multiple existing contacts into leads in the system?

Was hoping to be able to select multiple contacts from the list of existing contacts and classify or move them into leads.

Unfortunately contacts can't be converted to leads at the moment, this can only be done with deals: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010999378-How-can-I-convert-deals-to-leads-

Or just adding new leads into the system one by one or via your lead sourcing tools such as web forms, etc..
One other option if you have many contacts you'd like to convert to leads is to export all your contacts, and then re-import them into the lead section: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012995377-How-can-I-import-leads-
