Email tracking notifications not in sync with PD sent mail

Sent out my first batch of about 80 emails today with email and link tracking enabled. Looks like the notifications however are not in sync with what PD mail is showing. Notifications showed some opened the email and even clicked a link, but in PD sent mail, they are not flagged at all. Not sure which is correct although I'm suspecting mail since the notifications is still in beta. Hoping there will be a report available too for this as the notifications don't break down into an easy to disseminate result.

Did you send it in a batch email, or individually one by one?

That's the issue.
When sending in bulk, the system has no way of knowing which person actually opened.
It only works when its one at a time.

hmmm, I don't understand. Even though it's a batch set, the system is still sending them one at a time. And it's reporting on which ones were opened and which ones clicked a link, but the notifications list is not matching what is shown in PD sent mail. So the data is there, they just don't match. The notification is telling me that someone opened an email, but PD mail doesn't show that person had opened it. Which one should I believe?
I suppose what I want is a report showing how many were opened and how many links clicked. Currently that info is not rolled up anywhere.

Hi @Denny Reinert , I'm sorry to hear about this inconsistency.
We have been doing some significant revamping of the Notifications feature and it's possible that it displays some "hiccups" although we test and try to always have it running smoothly.
Currently you can run a report in Insights about tracking email using Emails Performance, see this tutorial.
I would rely on the data shown in the email messages themselves but would still reach out to our Support team so they can investigate further and help you troubleshoot. Thank you for your understanding!

Thanks for the note Ines, much appreciated. I'll keep watching to see if improvements occur, but in the meantime will use email as ground truth.

No problem @Denny Reinert . I would definitely talk to our Support team so they can investigate "under the hood" what is wrong and fix it: How can I contact Pipedrive Support?

Hi @Inês Batata ,
I would definitely love to make it easier to access the email notifications, similar to Hubspot, having to go back to the dashboard/sales assistant/email itself every time is not great. It would also be great to do this straight from Gmail in Chrome. A workaround is I've added an auto-BCC chrome addon that auto adds our relevant email in BCC to every email. Again, nice to haves and would rather avoid Hubspot to get this feature.
Is any of this planned for the updates?
Thanks!

Thank you so much for your feedback @Nicholas Jenkins , I completely understand your point of view.
Ideally, how would you like to be alerted about these tracking notifications?
