Can link only one organisation to a contact?

We have an 2 different organisations who have the same contact (with the same email address) - is there no way to link that contact with both organisations?

By default unfortunately a contact can be only linked to one org. You can however, either decide to make a second contact or create a custom org type of field on the contact person where you'd store the second linked org for example.

Could this be something that can be changed easily?

Don't believe this would affect anything else and would be a welcome change

We will use the workaround to create a second contact

Hi @Minhaz Moosa I can't say from my position what the time, effort and impact would be. I've made sure that the team responsible for contacts in Pipedrive is aware of your suggestion. When they will look into what new project to start they will prioritise it against other potential improvements.

Has there been any improvement regarding the possibility to link more than 1 organization to 1 person. Many business owners have multiple companies and this option would be a great feature to have.
When adding tasks I should be able to choose the company I meant to contact him about.
