Pause dealbot for slack

I am testing out new automation in our pipedrive instance. The first part of the new automation triggers existing automation where the dealbot alerts our company with the progress of a deal. I'd like to pause the dealbot while I am working on the new automation. I started by deactivating it, but that did work, then I deleted it, but that didnt work either. 

Can someone please advise me on how to pause the dealbot while I am working on my new automation? Thank you.
