Visibility / permissions : see but don't edit

Hi there, 

I'm stuck with the visibility / permissions tuning.

Any help would be appreciated on this problem : 

  • Apart from admin users, I want normal users to see all Organizations (i.e. know if organization A exists or not) but not to be able to edit (i.e. can't change any field nor transfer ownership)
  • Visibility groups setting for Organization is set on "Entire company" which gives both visibility and edit permissions
  • Permission sets doesn't seem to help here

Any idea ?

    Hi @Alan Macé !

    Currently if a user can see an item in Pipedrive, they can edit it. At the time unfortunately there's no "read-only" type of permission but the team noted down your suggestion for when they'll work on updates again.

    What you can do is limit the kind of editing non-Admin users can do using the visibility and permissions settings. For example, if you want them to not be able to change ownership of items, you can indirectly achieve that by choosing Permission Sets > See other users > No.
