Alarms to go off when a deal doesn't move

Hi is there any way of setting a notification to the deal owner if a deal doesn't move for say 15/30/60 days? I know the colour changes on the deal sheet but anything more proactive?

Also is there a way to report this data in terms of how many deals have / haven't moved?

thanks

  • Ian - I set up custom filters at the deal level for something similar. In your case, you will base the filter on the condition of the field: Deal Stage Last Change date.

Setting up reports would depend on the flexibility of the new Insights feature.

hi thanks for this. I set up a filter but it only shows my deals, not everyone in the company. I am admin so I want an overview for everything - is this possible?

If you have not set a condition to show only your deals it should show all the deals. Are you sure some other condition is not hiding deals from others?

If I put 'see all open deals' it only shows my deals, not everyone else's. So it is filtering somewhere but I can't see where

hi thanks, I have managed to fix it - I had it on exactly one month rather than more/less than one month which is why nothing was coming up

Further question then, if I run the filter, can I export only the filtered info? Or do I need to export the whole set?

    thanks

What a cool exchange of tips going on here, so good to see @Ian Mote and @Amit Sarda ! 👏

@Ian Mote You can export solely the results of your filter if you move to the List View and apply the same filter you've already built. It's also the place where you can choose which data/columns you want to be included or hidden in the spreadsheet you'll export, learn all about it here

It is now also possible to export reports from Insights, even if the filtering is not exactly the same as in the list view.

Now that Workflow Automation supports date-based fields you can create an automation that sends an email to the deal owner, for example. See more here.

More improvements to Insights and Automations are on the way, so make sure to stay tuned. Here’s how to stay on top of what’s coming down the line:
