Deals report with data of products in each deal

Hi, the company I work for sells products from different manufacturers, and we have goals set by each of these factories. That way, I need a deals report that allows me to view the name, quantity and unit value information for each product present in each deal in the pipeline.

At the moment, I have tried some solution with Zapier, but that solution depends on some trigger that I must indicate and each plan has a task limit.

As all the information is already in the pipedrive, the ideal would be to be able to export the report with these information anytime I need it.

Has anyone else had this need and found a solution?

Hi @Juliano Spínola could you give me a little more detail on how you'd like that report to look like and what exact information should be in it? Then we can see what is possible.

Do you just need a report based on the product and then the number sold and how many deals it's part of. Or do you need it from the deal angle to see what are all products on deals?

Hi Mike, there's an example of what I need.

With that, through macro I can separate the products in different rows to be able to perform analysis and generate dashboards. So, answering your question, I need it from the deal angle to see the products and quantities, unit price, etc of each one in each deal.

It would help a lot if I could have a column with personalized fields I created for the products, like manufacturer, family, etc. But it also can be done through macros.

Hi @Juliano Spínola unfortunately this can't be done at the moment, but I'll pass on your suggestions. Potentially one thing you can do is actually create a separate pipeline per factory or just tag the deals depending on the factory they come from.

Then you can either separate your reports by pipeline or use the "tag" to drill down in your reports. You can already see product information in there.

Not ideal what you're looking for, but it might help in the meantime. A last "solution" is to have a developer on your side connect to our API and pull all data out of Pipedrive yourself to report on.

Hi Mike, I am grateful for the feedback, but unfortunately the solution of separating deals by manufacturer is not feasible for us. Today we have more than 2000 deals in the pipeline and most of them have products from more than one manufacturer.

Following the suggestion, if I understood correctly, I would have to duplicate most of the deals and that would cause a waste of time with rework to copy the follow ups between the deals.

As far as I could see, this is not just my request, I ended up seeing other people who would like to have this same facility. So I really appreciate it if you can share that request with the developers.

Hi @Juliano Spínola thanks for the extra feedback. I'll pass it on to our team and added the "feedback" topic to your post :)

    Hi @Juliano Spínola

Unfortunately nothing worth mentioning. I'll do my best to highlight this again to our products and reporting teams, hopefully it will get the right attention.

    HI.

Just checking in to see if this has progressed. It seems like such a basic and elementary report. We use this to forecast product required for each deal as it passes through each stage. At the moment someone needs to log into pipedrive and check each product one by one and then summarise the deals to get the answer. Its cumbersome and tedious beyond belief for what could be replaced with a simple report? Can you help with moving this along
