Workflow Automation - Activity

Dear Pipedrivers,

Here my issue :

I want to implement a workflow automation regarding the success of an activity :

  • Can be a successul call
  • A client is interested after a meeting
  • etc

My problem is that we can't create any custom field linked to the activity. 

What I would like to do is from my point of view is very useful and meaningful. 

By creating a new field (dropdown list) regarding the result of an activity and linked to it, we could automatically drag a deal into the next stage instead of dragging it manually.

I know we can do it in a way with Notes but this is not convenient from my side

What do you think of it ? 

Is there a way to do it ?

    Unfortunately, we cant create custom fields under Activities.

    A workaround is to create custom fields under Deals and trigger automation based on the value of this field.

    It is possible to trigger automation to change a deal stage based on what activity note contains:

    You can also create some special type of activities to be able to further configure the automation.
