Disappointed with new Insights?

Anybody disappointed with the new Insights functionality??
It may be a misunderstanding on our behalf but we are no longer able to generate accurate reports on new deals passing through a stage. This has been a part of our reporting for a significant amount of time and even fuels external dashboards- now we have to reconfigure.
Before the update we would monitor new deals auto created when a trial would start, then watch it progress through the SQL process with our SDR. Now I am unable to see how many new deals landed in my SDR stage over a given period as it only reports on the current stage of the deal not the progress. A few other minor issues have made us really dislike the new Insights update.

Hey @Luke Marshall , thank you for reaching, this is Clarissa from the Support Department team.
I'm really sorry to learn you're not happy with the new insights
I don't know if you checked this already, but on our knowledge base you can see how you can replicate almost all reports we used to have: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011805118-Replicating-old-reports-in-Insights-
I guess what you need would be the 'deal progress' one, so you can learn how to replicate there and see a bit more information about it here: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007580817
If you still have specific doubts, I'd like to invite you to reach out to our via the E-mail [email protected] or if you need, we're also available on live chat following this steps: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005875565-How-can-I-contact-Pipedrive-Support-
Hope this helps.

Hi @Luke Marshall , thank you for your honest feedback! We value your input and it helps us make Pipedrive better.
We're aware that the transition from the old Reports to Insights requires some getting used to. We have done our best to make it as smooth as possible and know it's not been easy for everyone. We put together this tutorial that I really think can help you: Replicating old reports in Insights.
We've also been gradually adding functionalities that also existed in old Reports (Goals is the latest one), as well as brand new ones like using custom fields - see here.
If you find yourself still struggling, please reach out to our Support team and they will help you.
I’ll discuss your comments with our team and share your concerns. We understand your frustrations and appreciate your patience and understanding. 🙏

What exactly happens to you? I also have lots of problems with that feature, not only is not really easy to use, but it gives us back wrong numbers. Shall we share experiences?

We're also getting different numbers than on the old Reports.

Hi @Antonio Specchia | easyCRM and @Simon Orpe ! We're sorry to hear you've been struggling with Insights. Although we've done our best to make the transition as easy as possible, we know that the adaptation to this new interface takes a little while.
You shouldn't get different results if you're creating reports with the same conditions in Insights as they had in the old feature. I recommend you take a look at these tutorials we created to make your life easier, as well as this webinar: Want to build better dashboards and reports?
Hope that helps! If after that you still find yourself struggling, please reach out to our Support team and they will help you further.

We're doing a simple Deal progress -graph on each pipeline and get different results than we got on the old Reports section. I don't really understand what we could do wrong with the conditions.

Similar to some follow up comments, I will set a simple filter for example deals progressed through a stage in the last week. I will then get my dashboard number on top of the column graph (which is already incorrect as I cross reference my database that manages my free trial accounts for users) and then when I click into the number the table view has a different number again.
My main gripe (and this has been confirmed via a support email) is that I can now only look at deals that are in a certain stage, not those that have passed through. My previous KPIs for SDRs would see how many new trials were started, how many progressed to first call and how many on to demo.
This isnt a matter of getting used to it, I simply cannot run the same reports that I was previously able to

sounds very similar to our problem
We would previously monitor deal progress from new trial started to first call completed and the numbers simply do not match.

@Inês Batata I have done this several times already but not very helpful to be honest. This feature definitely needs improvement and you should bring the old Reports -section back while you are fixing Insights. I attach one example of a support team reply.

@Luke Marshall One important thing to take into account is that backwards movements are currently not counted. I suggest doing a hard refresh as illustrated below:
