Hi @Canciona® ,
Thanks for reaching out. Could you explain the use-case why your client needs to use 3 devices at the same time?
There's 2 reasons why we implemented this change:
- There are companies which are using one single seat for tens and in rare cases hundreds of users.
- We care about safety of the data inside Pipedrive and leaving long sessions on multiple devices creates a huge risk of someone random accessing user information. What I can recommend to make sure you don't hit device limits is 2 things:
- Logout after you're done on one device
- If you don't click "remember me" on login you will be automatically logged out after 12 hours.Hope this helps

This is a big problem for me - I use 6 devices regularly. 2 iMacs, rMBP, 2 iPads and iPhone. this has impacted my workflow. If I have to consciously alter my workflow and count devices then I will switch to another product.
@Invest if you reach out to our support team via the in-app chat or [email protected] they can take a look at your use case and switch off the limit for your account so it doesn't break your workflow
sorry about that!

I will try to ilustrate this with a conversation with support:
M:
HelloThis limit of 3 devices really sucks
P:
Hello! Our agents are over capacity right now, our apologies for the delay. Please feel free to explain your query in detail, if you haven't done so already, and we will be with you as soon as possible. Thank you!Me:
I need to reset all device connections on user [email protected] so he can enter
login I meantP:
Hello ,
P here, from the Pipedrive solution expert team. 👩💻
Thank you for getting in touch. Hope you having an amazing day. Thanks for the feedback.
Can you please ask the user to try to access the account again?
Me:
He tried 10 timesso did I
P:And the user is still having issues to log in?
Me:
Have you logged off all devices already?
Okay, yes
I'm in
I wrote a post in help communityP:
Perfect 😊Me:
to complain about this policy of 3 devicesWe usually need to login to make automations from several countries
each of us with several devices
to help our salesforce
to sell more and better using Pipedrive
This policy of just 3 devices is making our workflow a horror movie
Please give this feedback to whom it may concern
Thanks
Just an IDEA
P:Thank you for your feedback! We forward all customer feedback directly to our product team through an internal channel, so I can ensure you that your feedback is valued and taken into consideration for future product improvements.
If you would like, you can also add your feedback to our Pipedrive Community. Here other community users can see this, upvote, comment, offer workarounds and share their experiences.

Me:Dont template me
P:
Sorry you felt that way
Me:
Would be great to have at least the option to reset ourselves de devices from main accountIn order to don't be losing all this time, talking to you
This is making me lose money & time
so do you
P:There is that option 😊
Where?
Please use this page as reference https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001078097-How-can-I-log-myself-out-of-Pipedrive-on-my-connected-devices-
Me:
no noI mean from my ADMIN account
to be able to force log offs in the OTHER user accounts
Because each time I have an issue like this the only way to recover is writing to you
Imagine that one of our sales partners try to log in form a different Chrome account
Even from the same computer, it counts as ONE device
Its insane
This is the case
here
[email protected] used his phone
and ONE computer
P:
I see, if you have more than one Admin user this can be done.At the moment this is not possible. That said, this is amazing feedback. I'll be sure to give this a bump with our product team to let them this is something you'd be interested in. Love that you shared your request with me as I will use this case too as an example to our product management team - this really helps our engineers decide and prioritise which products to build out!
Me:
but tried to login from different chrome accountsEven is ONE computer Pipedrive gets it as different ones because each chrome account is taken as a different browser so is understood as a different device
P:If you logged in the same computer but different browser tabs, this will still give you an error
Me:
yes, of course, if I try to connect from 4 DIFFERENT CHROME USERS from the SAME COMPUTERwe're getting same error at login
P:I understand that it is annoying for you on your end but this is for your safety
Are you still having the same issue?
Me:Is not safety
is profit
I understand that some companies take profit of this making 10 20 people work from the same account
But I also know that you have agreed to study some particular cases
I think we deserve this particular study ourselves
P:
Thank you so much for your feedback. I have passed it on to my team.
Lets hope that the correct changes get implemented
Okey, have a good dayBye

@Canciona® thanks for sharing. In the meantime we've had a small policy change with this feature until we indeed have an option on login or for Admins to logout other sessions like you suggested. You can reach out to our support team and they can remove the device limit from your account. Sorry about all the inconvenience.

I contacted support as you suggested above to get the limit turned off (I use 5 different devices regularly - home desktop, laptop, work desktop, iPad, phone) but they told me that it could not be done. This was the relevant portion of my support conversation:
Support: "It seems that was a missing information 😕 The rule can not be changed"
Me: "You can't just turn the rule off entirely? In the thread, it sounded like there was no way to increase the limit, but the limit could be turned off"
Support: "Correct, no way to turn off or to increase it"
Did you remove that feature? Is there no other way to get around this? It's extremely annoying. My team is not abusing the system (everyone has their own account), I'm just trying to get work done.

Hi @SW
The previous thread and answer is from almost 3 years ago so I went to the team working on this to ask what's the situation.
This restriction was put to place to stop the abusement of our accounts. I explained you have 5 devices yourself and are not abusing it but unfortunately there is no way to turn it off or increase the number anymore.
If you have more devices, then when you log into Pipedrive with the 4th device, it force logs you out from elsewhere. So you can not have in parallel, active, more than 3 devices. To force logout:
- an admin can do that in the security dashboard section (in active devices part) - but this is currently available only on enterprise plan;
- user themself can always (available on all plans) force logout of their devices in personal settings, under your devices
I hope this still helps you a bit

Same problem for me. I understand why you need a limited device policy per seat but a three device cap is not a feasible limit in 2023.
Like many others, I have two phones (one android & one ios) + one computer at the office, and another at home. It annoys me a lot that I must constantly log out of all devices and log back in manually during my everyday work with Pipedrive.
