Activity Due Date vs Activity Completed Date

Activities that are marked completed have the due date, not the actual completion date.  If an activity slips by a day (or days), it would be helpful to know when the activity is actually completed.  Right now, we have to go in and edit the due date when it's completed so we have a more accurate picture of when a communication/action actually occurred.  While I am interested in the delta, I'm more interested in when something actually got done for the historical timeline.

    Hi @Bret Kobel

Thank you for sharing this. I've added the "feedback tag" to your post so that it ends up in front of the eyes of our product managers. I'll make sure they take a look!

I'd be interested in the answer to this as well.  Has a solution been suggested?

I'm experiencing the same. We'd like an accurate history of when an activity is actually completed versus when it was scheduled to be completed. Has this been resolved?

It's been 8 months and I havent heard anything on this.  Am I just wasting my time hoping this might get addressed?

We probably are. I can see how the way it works now may be useful to a manager trying to keep the people working under them accountable and on task. However, for my company's purposes, having an accurate history that we can search is more useful. We'll see if this catches anyone's eye at PD - it would be nice if it were a settings option that could be toggled based on the way one's company operates.

Hi @Bret Kobel and @Asher Rodriquez-Dunn we actually in the list view have the "marked as done time" so you can compare the due data and that with each other in the list view. Check here

    Hi @Mike van der Valks,

I saw that you guys have the "Marked Done Time" metric but I was not able to set up an insight that would report on how many have a "Marked Done Time" that is after the "Due Time".

We're wanting to track how often activities are getting completed late.

Thanks for sharing that idea @NLatNWEnforcement that is indeed not possible at the moment but I've passed it on to the team.
