Webform single option product design issue

In the "Old webforms", you could create a question that only had one answer.
It was convenient to work with "channel sales partners" for example, who had their customized webforms when they send leads to us, and they could select their "Partner code" (customized field we created in our system).

With the "New webforms", this function is gone. You must always have at least two options to offer to a question, which makes no sense because now, I can't force an entry to a specific partner.

See screenshot below:

Did anyone notice other issues with the "New Webform"?
I'm wondering why Pipedrive would not keep the good functions they had in the old webforms and add some limitation in what can be done.

Another option would be to allow us (admin) to make that selection for a particular webform so that one question could automatically get the same answer for a webform, without even having to ask the person answering the webform.

    Hi @Jean Kany

I haven't hear this one before, passing it on to our web form team.

In the meantime one workaround could be that you remove that question but that you set up a workflow automation that any data created by that web form after the creation automatically has that custom field you mentioned updated with the value you are looking for.

That'd be great, but I was told it was not possible, so I did not test.
What type of automation would you recommend using in that case?
It's still a lot of work (we have over 150 partners, each of them in need of their unique webform, so that means 150 automations to do, if we go that route), but I understand that could be a temporary workaround.

Hmm yeah in this case it means 150 workflows... unless you create a custom field which that is not single- or multiple option but just text and ask them to fill it in themselves via the webform. This may lead to some errors though with manually filling it in.

    Otherwise it goes like this:

    • The webform creates a deal. You should add some unique identifier to this deal that you know which partner filled it in.
    • Then the automation is triggered based on a created deal with this unique identifier
    • The action is to update the custom field based on information in the unique identifier
