'Activity' contains Phone Calls but does not contain Sending Emails


When filtering People or Organisations by activity, why does 'Activity' contain Phone Calls but does not contain Sending Emails?
Surely, sending emails counts as activity

As the email are logged directly in Pipedrive there's another database for this. When filtering you can use the "emails sent" or "emails received" fields for this.

@Mike van der Valk from memory, you can filter emails sent in ‘people’ but not in ‘organisations’.
I was trying to filter calls and email in organisations but I could only filter by activity. Hence my frustration.

Organizations have a field called "email messages count" that you can use for it.

@Mike van der Valk yea, I wanted an last email date, as I believe there’s a last activity date in organisation. So, I can filter companies that haven’t been contacted in last X amount of time.
