Hi,
Is there any way of me importing a quotation template into PD without having to purchase an app? The export to Excel option looks a bit well rubbish !
Thanks

Hi Rob,
If your quote is in MS Word or Google Doc format you can use the Sales Documents feature to import templates into PD. Read more: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010866997

We have been using PD for about 6 years now .. In the early days we had no choice but to choose an external app for quotations. .. We chose Pandadoc which has a nice tight integration into PD, offers the ability to incorporate a catalogue (much more useful than PD's products facility and which also plays really nicely and usefully with Zapier Automations which both PD and Pandadoc supports. .. Worth checking out if you find the above alternatives errr well, a tad tacky.
my 2c .. and I know you are trying to avoid having to spend more money on yet another Saas app. ... We had no choice in the beginning, but even after 6 years, we still find the added cost justified given the great presentation/impression Pandadoc projects to our customers.

Can that template then be used again for any other quotes i need to do?
Yes indeed, once you've set up or imported your templates, you can use them to create quotes in any of your deals 🙂

Hi Rob,
Yes. If this is set up in Word or Google Docs you just need to import the template into the new Pipedrive Sales Documents feature and add Pipedrive fields (merge fields) to the template where you want the data to populate.
We can support the quote table if you are using Products in Pipedrive. Once you set up the product table in your quote it will auto-fill with the product information from the deal.
