Batch transfer Deals into Leads, please!

I was hoping to request a feature to be added that would allow one to transfer Deals into Leads in large batches.

Prior to the Leads feature rolling out I'd been using the Active Prospecting stage as a kind of starting point, even if no contact had been made so in reality they're more just Leads than anything.

Being able to shift them all into the Leads sections would be much more appropriate and help to clean up the pipeline.

Please implement this!

    Hi @Ryan Gobar ,

Thanks for sharing, we're working on this!
As workaround you can already export deals into a spreadsheet and then import them in as leads. Not a perfect solution but until we finish our work on this it's a workaround.

Hi all, and thanks for the tag @Matthew Johnson

Unfortunately I can't give a specific ETA but as this is a new area in Pipedrive with whole new functionality it's a complex change for us. Also the first updates we're working on is to make sure the following can be done in the leads section:

    • Bulk actions
    • Sorting
    • Custom fields
    • Filters
    • Custom columns

After that we'll add the functionality to transfer deals to leads. If we'd do it the other way around you will use a lot of functionality you do have in the deal section already. We're doing our best but still need some time sorry!

1 months is most likely too short for our team but we'll do our best to get close to that. It's being worked on already so it definitely won't be a year.

So not to be too vague, we probably won't deliver it in the next 4 weeks but not so many weeks after we'll hopefully have this live!

@Mike van der Valk Could you / the dev. team also make sure to be able migrate deals to leads INCLUDING the attached product(s) in deals and make it searchable / sorting. This allows to more precisely target leads based on products (to be) sold and one can focus on specific leads / specific products to be sold. Thanks

@Christian Finke thanks for that additional suggestion. I'm not sure if this is currently in the plans for the first update on this but I'll definitely share your comments with the team working on this!

    Hi @Mike van der Valk

I have question in batch import and creating persons.

When you create lead manually it automatically creates persons as well. How is it in case when you import sheet to leads?

Hi @Martin Pecha the same, it will also create a person.
