✍✍✍✍ Lack of functionality are not allowing me to use Leads (Reported last year)

I think the idea of leads is a good one, but I don't see myself using it. The reason was explained last year when two things were reported last year when you release the tool. 

Apparently, this is not important for other users, or maybe my feedback fell  into the cracks, so please if you experience the same thing please write a comment ✍✍✍✍✍

There are two reasons on why I don't use leads. 
 

  1. Lack of functionality prioritizing your pending activities. 

    Right Now you can not filter your pending activities by due date time, type, etc. 
    When you have very few deals it is manageable, but when you upload 10 every day you can get lost very easily, especially while you are prospecting. Not all contacts are available the moment you call or send them an email so you need to schedule a follow-up activity. 

    When you have a lot of pending activities and you can not filter them, the sales rep says. Oh my God, this is so daunting. 👻👻👻👻👻

    I know that Pipedrive tried to solve this with labels, but please if you are a sales rep you quickly realize that the use of labels is not enough to manage leads. 

    If salespeople see a manageable list they are more likely to take action. This is psychology, so when leads lack the filter functionality creates a problem for prospecting and people will lose control.   😒😒😒😒 

     
  2. Lack of integration with the caller

    Why the integration of the caller is not alive? It is almost a year since the Leads was release and the integration with the caller is not available.

    Both of the things explained above prevent me to the use of leads is not an option to use it. 

    I hope that this time these comments are considered when they announce an upgrade in leads.

    Again the idea is fantastic but you need to solve these thing in order to get the most out of the idea.

    Regarding your points:

    1. It is currently possible to apply some default filters, mentioned in your original post to get better views of your leads using the Filter option in the upper right corner. Additionally, we're currently working on implementation of custom filters and columns in Leads Inbox to get even better overview, based on specific criteria.

    2. We're constantly monitoring the feedback of our customers and Caller implementation with Leads Inbox is definitely in our roadmap, however currently without ETA, so please stay tuned for more updates...

    Thank you for the reply, I did realize the filters section however they are still not good enough you can not select type of activity, creation date, etc.
