Tracking Lead Source via Reports

Hello, 

I am fairly new to PipeDrive. I would like to be able to track lead source via a standard report. Can someone help me? I am a smb owner and don't have resources to build these for me...

    I've been told by a Pipedrive account manager that you need to have a field on your deals showing where the lead is coming from and then you are able to run report with that customized field, if you have a pro plan.

    I have not been able to make it work unfortunately.

    I am also trying to do this. There doesn't seem to be a way to add a report or dashboard element that reports on 'lead source'. Can anyone help here please? Would be great to see how many new leads have come in each month, from which lead source and what the lead status is. Any help appreciated please.

    I have tried the free version of hubspot and that is included natively (lead source and many more options), so we're looking at switching to hubspot as we have too many issues with pipedrive and improvements are slower than our growth. Plus, the price of hubspot is lower than pipedrive (considering the fact that to have pipedrive functionning like a normal CRM we have to connect it to many other paying tools)

    Hi Dan,

    Depending on how you feed your lead source data to Pipedrive there are several ways to go about achieving this.
    The simple way is to build a custom field for leads/deals that you use to add the information of the Lead Source, as in the example bellow,
