Setting Activity Limits for Upcoming Dates

When setting a new activity for myself, sometimes I already have 20+ activities upcoming on a given day. It would be helpful to be able to mark off a day in my account for when i don't want to schedule activities and/or set a limit to imply that I've already scheduled a certain amount of activities on a given day. 

For example, i will be out of the office on Monday 3/29 and Friday 4/2, but it's hard to remember that when scheduling follow up activities...so if it was shaded out because I noted I don't want activities for that day, that would be great. It could be a shade above the day of the month, or a code like OOO (Out of Office).
