First Name & Last Name Separation for list export

Ho @Mike van der Valk for marketing purposes having the First Name separated is very important. I see Pipedrive is guessing them based on logics... but these logics are not valid in any language.
For example, in Spanish:
- Jose Angel Garcia -> Jose Angel (First Name), Garcia (Last Name).
- Jose Perez Garcia -> Jose (First Name), Perez Garcia (Last Name).
Pipedrive will always guess in these cases 2 words as First name, which is not correct in the case of Jose Perez Garcia.
Therefore, it is important for the teams to be able to manually edit First Name and Last Name separately in Pipedrive Person forms. Is that something that can be activated?
Thanks!

@Jesús Alonso thanks for the insights. I believe right now it's not possible to manually edit this unfortunately however, I've reached out to our team to see if we can change this behaviour in the future.

Thanks @Mike van der Valk . Just for a complete understanding... when we make a BULK import we can separate fields... but once imported how are they stored internally? In a single field? (Full Name) or as separate fields (although they can not be edited through the forms)?
There are 2 behaviours I guess:
A) If Pipedrive stored the name in a single field (FULL NAME) then, regardless how we import the information at the end the output could be wrong when exporting. Example:
- When importing we map "Jose" to FIRST NAME and "Perez Garcia" to LAST NAME.
- Pipedrive takes the info, concatenates and stores "Jose Perez Garcia" as FULL NAME (master info).
- When exporting, Pipedrive uses its internal logic and thus exports: "Jose Perez" as FIRST NAME and then "Garcia" as LAST NAME.
Otherwise...
If Pipedrive keeps FIRST NAME, and LAST NAME separated (no matter they can be edited in forms or not), at least the information would stay safe:
- When importing we map "Jose" to FIRST NAME and "Perez Garcia" to LAST NAME.
- Pipedrive stores separately "Jose" to FIRST NAME and "Perez Garcia" to LAST NAME.
- When exporting, Pipedrive returns the proper fields: "Jose" and "Perez Garcia".
Could you please clarify if Pipedrive behaves as A or B?
If names are stored as a single field we would not have a workaround to correct names using EXPORT + CORRECT NAMES + IMPORT.
Thanks

Hi @Jesús Alonso I'm pretty sure it behaves like B but let me double check with our team and let you know a 100% sure, give me some time please!

Hiya Mike,
I'm trying to add the First Name / Last Name fields to our web forms but I don't see them as options to add when I look at the contact properties.
How can I add these fields to my web forms?
Thanks for all your help!
Cheers,
Emily

Hi @Emily McKInzie unfortunately they are not available there as separated fields. However, if you use the full name field, our system will automatically split them in a first- and last name field for you.

I’ve read many treads of subjects and comment about filtering L and F name BD, but I didn’t find what has looked for.
I’ve got some names stick together so I will need to filter this name to delete them after one quick selection.
OR
I could have a function to split them internally and look. If I’ll get double person so I can safely remove them. Do you have any solutions about this? Tks

Hi @David Picard not sure if I'm following the issue? So you have not split up the first and last names but they are all combined in one name?
One option could just be to export it all out to Excel, then fix it all there, reimport using the person ID in Pipedrive. Then those persons that are not updated with that update you could remove..
