Slow loading speed of Pipedrive

Hello,
Since the last big Pipedrive update, we're experiencing huge slowdowns on the loading speed of the information in Pipedrive.
I originally thought it may due to the size of our database (10,000 organizations, 20,000 contacts), but even when we filter 200 organizations, it is still extremely slow.
Same issue happens either on Chrome or Brave browsers, and among multiple users of our company.

Is it possible to hear from Pipedrive how and when this issue will be solved?

    Hello @Jean Kany ,

We don't believe this is expected behaviour. With that being said, would it be possible for you to reach out to our Support team so that we can take a look into this?

Here are the ways in which you can do so - https://support.pipedrive.com/en/article/contacting-pipedrive-support.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

We already contacted Support but they were not able to change anything. We also mentioned that to our Account Manager in the past.

    Hi @Jean Kany!

I am sorry to hear about the slowness issues. I could not find an active conversation with our Support at the moment. Did you manage to reach out again with the issue? With this case, we need some more details to identify the root cause and understand how it would be fixed, so would need to be dealt with via our official Support channel.

    Hi,

Same here, I've been experiencing long load/lag times for the last 3-4 weeks.

Pipedrive works fine, it just takes 1-3 seconds to click a button / load the next activity.

It makes it that much harder to stay focused.

    Any ideas welcome.

Mine has NEVER improved... Doesn't matter if I'm on Google Chrome or Safari...  Takes 10 x longer.

Records have been loading extremely slow for us too. It takes each page several seconds to load, and refresh when looking through the list view / filters.

And we don't have a ton of records.

I know it is the Pipedrive system unfortunately because I have the exact same amount of records in another CRM and they load instantly there, even when browsing through pages of records - same browser, same PC.

I worry about this because it can only get slower as we grow and get more records.

The "good" thing is that in my experience, the number of data didn't matter too much.
It's just slow (and sometimes it isn't.... don't know why).
Loading 37 organizations or 10000 takes about the same time for me here.

What takes at least a day though, is the update of reports or forecast.
For  instance I mark a deal as Won in December, then check if it shows as Won in my forecast view, it does not. I can refresh all I want, it still doesn't do any good. I have to wait few hours, usually next day, to see the forecast and reports updated properly.
I think Pipedrive's servers somehow don't update immediately. They probably run updates every now and then to reduce their bandwidth requirements.

I believe both issues are unrelated though. One is pure "speed" issue. The other is more a "cloud" issue.

@Jean Kany right that's "good" in the sense that growing and getting more records won't slow it down even more. But maybe that's even worse. I just deleted over 1,000 duplicates in my organizations and the load speed is the same (not that 1,000 is that significant, but I did expect faster loading, and it didn't happen.) ETA: when I wrote this, I had forgotten that I also deleted about 5,000 leads - so about 6,000 records all together, and that did not make a difference in the speed/lag.)

Do you use the Pipedrive phone app and do you experience the same delays/slag on the app.

    Yep, I get your point.

I rarely use the Pipedrive mobile app, because the UX is poor and most functionalities are not available on the app.
I only use the mobile app when I need to check some fields about an organization, more as a content reading than actually using the app as my CRM.
I usually wait until I'm in front of a computer to do Pipedrive stuff.
The app is just not very user-friendly and the functionalities are too limited.

I'm not even sure I can create filters and pull a list in the App, actually. Never tried, and I don't think I will until they are able to provide the same level of user interface and functionalities as in the web-version.

I think everything started to go south when they upgraded about a year ago to their new version. That's when reports stopped being accurate, loading speed became worse, etc etc.

They do have great support team though, especially the one in Portugal that is always amazing and helpful compared to some other support teams they have in other countries. So that's helpful, but it'd be better to not need the support at all, of course.
