Products feature in essential plan

Hi all,

I just want to reaffirm my unsatisfaction with the pipedrive plans feature organization. I can't understand (being polite) how a CRM, even within it's "essential" plan, are unable to manage products sales. It's a completly shame.

I have 2 companies which now will look into other CRM solutions as the "advanced" pipedrive plan became unviable, when the only feature missing from the essentials is the "Products"

What are your thoughs about that?

Hi Lucas as all companies do, I Think that they are more focused on the middle plan so my suggest is to move in "advanced". How many licenses do you have?

Hi @Lucas Xavier , thank you for your honest feedback. I have personally sent your comments internally and I’ll discuss them with our team and share your concerns. Can you shed some light on why the Advanced plan is not an option you're considering at the moment? This will help us understand your use case better.

In the meantime, I would like to highlight that many recent improvements have been made available to all plans, like the new navigation and other User Interface elements, new activity invites, integration with Zoom, Insights reporting and dashboards, as well as add-ons that are available across the board to any plan.

We do our best to bundle features into the plans in the ways that our research shows they are most in demand and in which users will make the most benefit out of them but we're also aware that unfortunately there are always cases where it's not a perfect fit. I understand your frustration and have brought it up internally so we can think about it for future developments.

Thank you for your feedback. I really believe there is other features that can justify different plans but a essential feature

I too find this incredibly bizarre. How could adding a product/s to an organzation be an advanced feature. I have an insurance agency and I sell mostly health insurance. So I have the carriers, seperately under organization and would like to add the plans they offer and the commission assigned to them under products offered by each carrier. Seems pretty basic to me. I am fairly new to this program and don't have it mastered yet so now I have each person entered, I select the carrier they are with and add a subscription for each month they will be effective. That way I can run reports on projected commission, update for commission statements etc. How much easier it would've been if I had the plans offered by each carrier to choose from. I am the sole owner and it doesn't make sense for me to have the expense of the advanced plan when all i really need is a basic house for data.

In other words, I agree with you.
