Greetings,

I have a couple of questions about Column Charts in Insight Report.

This is what I see when the x-axis is 'view by deal created weekly.'

1. What is W0 in 2021?

According to the wikipedia article about ISO 8601 (a standard about time-related data), there are several mutually equivalent and compatible descriptions of week 01:

  • the week with the year's first Thursday in it (the formal ISO definition),
  • the week with 4 January in it,
  • the first week with the majority (four or more) of its days in the starting year, and
  • the week starting with the Monday in the period 29 December – 4 January.

In 2021, January 1st was Friday and January 4th was Monday. Hence. I believe 'W0 2021' in the graph refers to the week between December 27th and January 2nd. Am I right?

2. Does a week start on Monday or Sunday?

I tried to find a reference in Pipedrive documentation but to no avail. In the graph above, does a week start on Monday or Sunday?

    Hi @Ted Youn!

You are correct, W0 2021 in the graph refers to the week between December 27th and January 2nd in your case if the week starts from Sunday.

As to the week start itself, it depends on the Date/number format settings under Personal Preferences. So for example if you have selected English (United States) - it will start on Sunday. But selecting English (United Kingdom) - the start will be on a Monday. These are taken automatically and selected from most used version for each country.
