Add Option to "Restart" a subscriber with a specific email in an automation





We're running a lead nurturing automation in Mailigen. We are constantly adding emails to the end of the sequence (they go out every 10 days), but sometimes we get behind, and a subscriber "beats us to the end" and ends up finishing the sequence before we can add the next email.
Currently, we lose these subscribers unless we add them to a new automation. Therefore, I want to request the option to "restart" a subscriber from a particular email in an automation.
Does anyone have a best practice here that we're not thinking of? Would this be of use to anyone else?

I have a possible workaround that I'd love someone at Mailegen to validate... If I create an "Add IF Split" after my last email in an automation and set it to delay 365 days, does this give me a year to come up with a new email to continue the sequence? If I slotted this email in before the "Add IF Split" would it be delivered to those waiting in the split?
