I'd be great if we were able to create HTML email templates so we can send more visually and conversion-centric emails.

Hi @Ruben van Bergeijk thanks for sharing. As you may or may not know, Pipedrive recently acquired Mailigen. An email marketing automation tool. Mailigen can do this already out of the box. Feel free to take them on a test spin, there's additional trial time for Pipedrive customers.
There is currently a BETA version of a two-way sync between Mailigen and Pipedrive, which you'd be welcome to test out. You can do this in Mailigen's 30-day free trial, which you're welcome to sign up for HERE.

Hi @Mike van der Valk thanks for your reply! I tried Mailigen yesterday, great tool, but unfortunately the two-way sync only allows for syncing based on people and organizations - not deals. I hope the deeper integration will offer that functionality.

@Ruben van Bergeijk I expect the deal sync to come in around 5-6 weeks as we are currently collecting all the insights and will be working on the improvements starting next week.

Long time PD customer here - at least 4 years?
I believe this needs to be a feature in Pipedrive as part of the email integration and within our Pipedrive workflows. Not force customers to purchase a 2nd product.
Please let us know how quickly this can be implemented!

Thanks for sharing your feedback @Chip Royce I've passed this on to our email team. Unfortunately, at this point in time I can't give any estimation if we decide to add this functionality in the email integration and how much time this would potentially take.

The ability for us to create and use fully customized HTML/CSS email templates in PipeDrive would allow us to send out branded emails that are properly formatted to our requirements.
"Templates" currently refers to the text used in an email but isn't really adequate of a sophisticated email marketing platform.

Yeah, The emailing and templates within pipedrive isn't really meant or suited for email marketing but more for sales follow-up and prospecting. Pipedrive purchased mailigen which has pretty good integration with pipedrive. Maybe check that out as an option for email marketing.

I think we have the same issue with our signatures. They're formatted in HTML and therefore look terrible when copied into pipedrive. We have to use a screenshot of our Outlook-Signature instead, which of course kills the links, etc.

@Samo Jurdik as we are soon releasing Campaigns by Pipedrive, a natively built-in email marketing functionality, then we are no longer accepting new registrations to Mailigen.
You can sign up for the Campaigns waitlist here.As Campaigns is sharing the same data that you already have in Pipedrive, there is no need for syncing and the platform will be much easier to use going forward.

@Pedro Martinho it's live already, just limited availability, you have to register for the waitlist.
Regarding the features, the new product has a very aggressive roadmap and plans for 2022 and it depends on what are your needs & expectations to compare it with Mailigen.

@Joe Thong it's a brand new natively built module, not a rebranded Mailigen.

We send various follow up emails at different stages of the pipeline, some we have automated through workflows, some we send manually using email templates (as we need to tailor them every time).
Unfortunately, the emails templates in pipedrive are not html and hence it is difficult to create nicely formatted, responsive emails there. We are now testing Campaigns beta, which has html emails.
I was wondering if we could somehow use Campaigns, or the templates created there in automation workflows and in email templates to have the ability to send HTML transactional emails. Perhaps something that could be added to the Campaigns module.0 -

the simple ability to center align text would be nice for sure - fully HTML supported emails would be great.
