Sync all contacts

Hi everybody,

I have some struggles with the contacts sync feature. Pipedrive does not allow to sync all contacts in my Google Contacts. Only if I am the owner of a contact.

Well we are working in a sales team of 10 people and the concept of ownership of a contact does no belong to us. The team is the owner and all of my colleagues need all contacts.

So please give us the possibility to sync all contacts.

Thanks!

A workaround would be to export them from Pipedrive and import them.

Thank you for your input @Georg Wässa, we appreciate it!

We are aware of this limitation and I've made sure to forward your suggestion internally to our team so they can consider it when they work on future improvements. This is where we make all product update announcements make sure to follow them:

    • Follow What's Planned to know what we're currently working on and what’s to come.
    • Follow What’s New and don’t miss any new release announcements.
    • Join our Research and Beta Testing channel for the chance to try out early versions and give us your opinion about new and improved features before they go live.

In the meantime, @Boris Tsibelman 's workaround is a good one, although we know it's not the perfect solution. Thank you for your undersatnding!

Hi, exact same here, all contacts are the company's, there is no "owner" for us. But still, it doesn't matter, as long as the sync engine to google could ignore ownership and simply sync all contacts regardless, we don't even have to get rid of the ownership issue, just sync all contacts, done.

Google does not support shared addressbooks and specifically says "use a third party solution". Pipedrive is our third party solution for syncing contacts, adding any other sync component would make it extremely hard to work, so we definitely need Pipedrive to bridge the gap and let every Pipedrive user sync to their own google account all company contacts.

This would be an additional feature Pipedrive could offer, let alone making things so much easier for existing users.

    Thanks

Yes, but then it would have to be done regularly as contacts are added, edited, etc.  Syncing all company contacts to our mobile devices so we can add, delete, edit and have access to all contacts at any time is critical.  This is a big oversight from PipeDrive

Any updates on when "Sync all contacts" might be available? I'm not sure where to find the Pipedrive roadmap for upcoming features.
