SmartDocs: Make notice to customers editable

Hi,
it would really help if we could modify the email notice sent to our clients requesting their signatures. I might even suffice to offer a recipient-specific link to the signature process. That way we could include a personal message, change the language (currently, the email's subject is English for all) and nicely ask to sign.

    Hi Reinhard,

Despite not being possible to customise the email body, the language of the email will be the one configured for each signer. Are you talking about the "reminder" email or another one?

What other configurations do you think would be important for the signature process?

Yes. Event though our PD is configured to German, the e-mail notice has an English subject "... invited you to sign a document". That's not a major issue though, as the body text is, in fact German, so people will know what to do.

We'll take the signature process as it is for the time being, but I really think that autorisation should be set in a more "natural" environment rather than initiated from a standardized e-mail message. Signing a contract is about trust after all, so the invitation to sign should be a personal and configurable. I realize that is more complicated than it sounds, but it should still be something PD is considering for future versions.
