I'm looking to find a way to identify which deals need follow-ups. As it stands the rotten feature is working alright, but I would like a way to track it and possibly print out reports regarding the deals. There is a field in the deals called "last activity date" which does not update automatically, so I'm unsure how it's supposed to be used. I think it could be useful but I need to know what to do in order for it to properly track when the last activity date was.

Pretty sure the last activity date does update "automatically" based on if an actual activity was marked as complete for that record.0

@Brad Krause is correct. It is a calculated field that is updated when you mark an activity as done.0
