Hi Guys,

I haven't seen this covered anywhere but most definitely need it to be. What is the best way inside Pipedrive to create an activity using a received email?

The feature would act like Office365 does when creating a task from a flagged email.

I find this such a simple feature that I must be missing something in not being able to find it.

Thanks
Nick

You can use Zapier to do this.

You can use Zapier to do this.

So I cannot go into Mail in Pipedrive, and create an activity direct from that interface?

You can use Zapier to do this.

You can create a new lead or deal from the inbox tab, but not an activity.

Pipedrive automatically logs the number of emails sent and received, separately, if that's what you're looking for.

    Would be a helpful feature.

I found this post because I was looking for the same thing.

For example, when we have a response that says "I will be out of the office until x date" it would be helpful to create an activity that lets me follow up with the person on that date right from inside the email/Mail view.

This person may not yet have an open deal with us so creating a deal first wouldn't apply and would skew reports (aside from unnecessary extra work.)

I think this is a critical feature, since it's a habit for most people to use their inbox as their task list. It would go a long way to moving people out of their inbox.
