Showing customer number fields with commas

Is there a way to show a numerical custom field with commas? I often enter large numbers and they are hard to read without a comma. Thanks!

    I agree. This would be an easy update that makes the data much easier to read for those of us who deal with large numbers. Surprised this isn't already an option.

    Fully agree - i assumed we had a universal setting incorrectly selected. Is it possible that numbers can't be viewed with commas separating thousands places?
