Email Attachment to Deal Should Trigger notification

Hello All,
i have been asking for this to be fixed for a long time but nothing happened.
today when a deal is being changed due to new email attachment no notification is being triggered. many of the sales team members are updating a deal progress by sending emails to deal. if this doesn't trigger notification no one knows about this update.
any kind of deal change (not only fields updates and text notes) should trigger a notification.
it would be great if this capability could be added to the product.
