Is there a way for web forms to create a lead instead of a deal?

@Kelly Tisone currently not, but we're working on something in that area, will pass on your suggestion. Thanks for sharing!

Is there any update on this feature or perhaps a custom workaround that others have discovered?

@Melissa Bizzari all I can say is we're still working on it. It will take a while since it's a whole new update we're doing not just the change to the leads section. Curious also if others have found workarounds :)

Glad to hear you're working on it. Having a web form connection would be essential to accomplish value for this feature.

Right now, unless your someone who buys "lead" lists, this feature is useless if you can't connect a web form to it.

Is there is some way to work around with the api that would be very helpful while we wait.

We are now having trouble dropping web forms into deals with new restrictions.    Formerly these were started as deals and we built pipes to distribute.    Now we've list visibility to new and need to search people or organizations.  How are others seeing new web form adds?
