We are very interested in Leads Inbox Integration

I've come across a few snags.

  1. There is no way to revert Deals back to Leads - this would have helped speed up the process of moving to the Leads Inbox as well as avoid future errors of accidentally converting Leads into Deals.
  2. For some reason I cannot change the organization associated with a Lead.  It seems to be permanent if there is no duplicates associated.  Unless I'm missing something simple of course.
  3. As an admin, it would be nice to be able to put notes in for other users.  There seems to be no note user stamp that I can find.  And I suppose along with that, it would ideal to have the same unique Activities as the Deals do.

    Hi @Andrew Boatright ,

Thanks for sharing, I've passed it along to the team here:

    1. We're working on it, but for now the only way is to manually enter it, or export deals to a spreadsheet and re-import them as leads.
    2. There's the edit pencil on the right if you hover over the organization name. Or is this not what you mean?
    3. Passed it along, for now I guess add your name to the note, good point! Activities will also be shared in the future :)

    Hello Mike,

It appears I do not have a edit pencil button on linked organization or must be missing another place it could be edit.  There is only a link icon next to the name which takes you to the organization page in Pipedrive.

    Thanks for the help!

Hi @Andrew Boatright last question so I can double check. How did this lead come into the system? Manually, LeadBooster, Spreadsheet..?

This was just a manual entry I made when testing the Lead Inbox.  I have not tested the other importing tools quite yet.

Thanks @Andrew Boatright so I just double checked. Currently if the contact already exists in Pipedrive it is impossible to unlink that in the leads section. It's planned though to give the option to be able to do this, so it will change :)

The reason I can edit it, is because the organization I added on the lead is not yet a contact in Pipedrive.

I see.  That makes sense.  But just to clarify, there was no Person associated with this particular Lead.  It was only an Organization linked.

But that's good news that it is planned to allow editing that in the near future.

Thanks for your help and I'll continue to test.
