Need Files visible on Deals, but hidden on Contacts.

In our use case, we need to attach files to Deals, but don't want them visible on the Person/Contact. We have two tiers of users and there is information on the Deal (and attached files) that we don't want visible to all users. However, Person/Contacts need to be visible to all users. The ability to control how documents are attached would be extremely helpful.
In the meantime, if anyone has any work-arounds they would be greatly appreciated!
